The Orioles participate in the Virginia Baseball Congress (VBC), a competetive, recreational, 25 and older wood bat baseball league. For 2009, the league consisted of 7 teams that faced each other on a weekly basis from April through August. Playoffs were held at the end of August. We play on high school fields around the Richmond metro area, and once the high school year ends, night games are held on Henrico fields as well.

The 2010 season is upon us, so if you are interested in playing, please fill out the 2010 roster form on the VBC website!

The O's scored 6 runs in the top of the 7th inning to mount a comeback victory against the Cubs.  Jason Hoover pitched 1-hit ball over the final 3 innings to get the win.  Ryan Herrig and Clark Ballew each had 3 hits to lead the 13-hit offensive.  This was the second straight game with 13 or more hits and 11 runs for the Orioles.
